Neil Arnold gave a very entertaining talk on Thursday 19th July 2012 entitled Kentish Folklore

He centred on the myths and truth about the apparitions that appear on Bluebell Hill. On 18th November three women were killed in a motor accident, one of whom was reported in the press as a “bride to be”. Since that date there have been reports of a woman in a white dress seen on the hill. However reports go back far further.

In 1793 a black leopard was seen and since that date there have been over 1500 sighting of big cats in Kent. Myth or fact – the choice is yours.
